Privacy Policy
What we collect when you use ChineseModels.ai, why we collect it, and the choices you have. This page is a working draft and will be replaced after legal review.
1. Scope of this policy
This policy describes how ChineseModels.ai handles personal data in the website, the console and the API. It does not cover third-party sites or the independent practices of the model providers whose models we route to.
2. Information you provide
Creating an account requires an email address and a password. You may also provide a display name, organisation details, billing information handled by our payment processor, and the contents of support messages. We ask for only what is needed to operate the service.
3. Information collected automatically
We record technical data needed to run and secure the platform: request timestamps, model and endpoint used, token counts, status codes, latency, IP address, and browser or client version. Cookies are used to keep console sessions signed in and to remember basic preferences.
4. How we use information
Data is used to authenticate requests, meter usage and calculate charges, provide support, detect abuse and fraud, maintain service reliability, and meet legal obligations. We do not use API prompts or outputs to train models, and we do not sell personal data.
5. Prompts, outputs and model providers
A request is forwarded to the provider that serves the selected model, together with the prompt and parameters needed to fulfil it. That provider processes the request under its own policies, which may differ from ours. Avoid submitting sensitive personal data unless you have a lawful basis and have reviewed the relevant provider’s terms.
6. Sharing
We share data with model providers as described above, with infrastructure and payment processors acting on our instructions, and with authorities where disclosure is legally required. We do not share personal data with advertisers.
7. Retention
Account information is kept while your account is open and for a reasonable period afterwards where needed for accounting, dispute resolution or legal compliance. Usage logs are retained for operational and security purposes and then deleted or aggregated.
8. Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit, access to production systems is restricted, and API keys are stored so that the full value is shown only once at creation. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe an account or key has been compromised, contact us immediately.
9. Your choices and contact
You can update account details in the console and revoke keys at any time. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, write to support@chinesemodels.ai from the address associated with the account. See also our User Agreement and Usage Policy.
